Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant responsible for general accounting, close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, labor-related accounting, and financial reporting. Will assist in preparing internal financial statements, management reports, and job costing analysis. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate effectively with finance and field-based operational teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in a service-based, labor-intensive organization
• Hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations, accrual accounting, and monthly close
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems commonly used in commercial services environments
