The Housing Dynamics Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining digital solutions that support key housing services in Westminster City Council. The successful candidate will have experience working with housing management systems or CRM platforms and be able to adapt agile principles to suit different contexts and team maturity. They will work with modern tools and good engineering practices in a supportive team culture where they're trusted, encouraged to grow, and given the space to make a genuine difference.

Requirements

• Experience working with housing management systems or CRM platforms
• Strong understanding of housing services and user needs
• Applied understanding of agile principles
• Experience leading software development, setting technical direction, and contributing to product strategy and service design
• Hands-on approach to modern engineering practices
• Familiarity with DevOps culture, continuous integration and deployment, automated testing, and test-driven development
• Strong technical capability with experience using SQL, Python, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, JIRA, and GitHub
• Ability to balance user, organisational, and technical needs
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Good understanding of the local government context, including legal, financial, and political factors
• Digital mindset and focus on using technology to improve outcomes and support inclusive, accessible services
