Job Description
On-call firefighter is a paid person employed by the fire and rescue service who is ‘on call’ to respond to emergencies and engage with the community. They are trained and experienced people on the front line, saving lives and protecting people and community assets.
Requirements
- Ability to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted to an incident
- Physical fitness
- Eligibility to work and/or live within 4 minutes to the Fire Station
