Job Description
On-call firefighters are paid individuals employed by the fire and rescue service who respond to emergencies and engage with their community. They are trained professionals who save lives and protect people and assets. The role is demanding, but offers a chance to make a real contribution and form close working relationships with the team.
Requirements
- Be able to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted to an incident
- Meet certain essential requirements
- Be physically fit
- Work and/or live within 4 minutes to the Fire Station
