Job Description
Shelf is a data-driven AI strategy solutions company that helps brands like Amazon and Mayo Clinic leverage GenAI. They provide core infrastructure and enable GenAI deployment at scale, focusing on data quality and customer-facing solutions. The role is a technical leader, focused on delivering rapid-cycle pilots to demonstrate the value of Shelf's data solutions and convert them to deals.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, data engineering, solutions architecture, or similar customer-facing technical roles
- Strong expertise in data modeling, data platforms, and ETL/data pipelines
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python preferred) and AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
- Deep understanding of enterprise data platforms and cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proven track record in customer-facing technical roles with demonstrated sales impact
- Exceptional communication skills with technical and business audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Experience in B2B SaaS, AI/ML, or data quality solutions preferred
