Job Description
The Assistant Director of Domestic Violence & Supportive Housing (DVSH) is responsible for leading a team in providing community-based homelessness prevention and rapid-rehousing services to victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in social work/human services/related field or commensurate experience
- 3+ years of program and staff management
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritize competing priorities and make sound judgements
- Ability to complete tasks while navigating frequent interruptions
- Ability to deliver creative, resourceful solutions to unique challenges
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation/ 10-15% local travel for appointments
- Ability to drive a minivan
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends when needed
