Grinder/Blaster

Perform a variety of tasks such as grinding, deburring, taping, media blasting, washing with pressure washer, and reading blue prints. Responsible for cleaning, reading blue prints, handling materials, and sweeping. Inspects parts by using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, or other inspection equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree
• 6 months' experience in manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations at a high school level
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
