Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer II-Assembly is responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods to enhance product quality, cost, and efficiency. This role involves applying knowledge of design, materials, fabrication, welding, and paint processes, and working with quality standards. Responsibilities include equipment assembly, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical/hydraulic issues, supporting new product introductions, and collaborating with teams to implement improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent field of Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience or education in electrical or hydraulic system troubleshooting
- Proficiency in computer skills (Excel, Word, CAD software, SolidWorks, ERP/MRP system)
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic system schematics
- Ability to read and understand design drawings with GD&T
- Effective communication/interpersonal skills
