Quality Engineer - Austin, Texas

ShipperHQ is looking for a Quality Engineer who is passionate about quality, precision, and continuous improvement. The Quality Engineer will ensure that every product release meets high standards for quality and performance, collaborating with developers and product managers to deliver a smooth and reliable user experience.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Experience with Playwright or similar browser automation tools
• Experience with integration testing
• Ability to write moderately complex SQL queries (MySQL or similar)
• Familiarity with container frameworks (Docker) and Unix/Linux shell
• Experience using Git or other version control systems
• Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as GitLab or Bitbucket
• Practical experience using AI tools to write code, generate test cases, and accelerate automation workflows
• Systemic thinker with an end-to-end mindset and experience navigating cross-functional teams and complex business systems
• Analytical and detail-oriented with a natural curiosity to uncover issues before they reach users
• Strong project leadership with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Proactive problem solver who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments and can balance speed with quality
