Job Description
Shive-Hattery is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Higher Education practice, specifically the University of Iowa campus. This role involves designing complex utility systems (steam, chilled water, ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, etc.) in a collaborative environment. The firm is a premier architecture and engineering consulting firm with a strong reputation for client focus and building lasting professional relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- 5+ years of experience or a candidate actively pursuing a Professional Engineering license
- Engineering Internship with passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to work in elevated environments
- Pass drug and background checks
