Job Description
Shive-Hattery is seeking a Licensed Mechanical Engineer for its Cedar Rapids, Iowa office. The role involves leading mechanical design projects in collaboration with multiple disciplines, focusing on industrial clients and building systems like plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection. This position offers a career-growth opportunity in a collaborative and full-service firm.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited engineering school with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or architectural engineering with a mechanical emphasis.
- 8+ years of experience in the mechanical design of building systems.
- Registration as a licensed Mechanical Professional Engineer is a requirement.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present design solutions.
