Mechanical Engineer

Shive-Hattery is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in mechanical design, leadership, and project management. This on-site role within the Iowa City Office will focus on lead design for building systems, collaborating with various teams, and managing project scope and budget. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited engineering school (mechanical or architectural) with a bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical design of building systems.
• Registration as a licensed Mechanical Professional Engineer is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and workload.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling software (Revit preferred), HVAC load calculation software, and experience with project management.
