Job Description
Shive-Hattery is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team. The firm is a leading architecture and engineering consulting firm focused on Industrial clients, and is currently hiring for a Quad Cities (Bettendorf, IA) office. The role involves design, leadership of structural engineering projects, mentorship of junior engineers, and client interaction. This is an on-site position with a focus on multi-discipline projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program
- 5 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering design
- Professional Engineer licensure in Iowa or immediate licensure ability
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of concrete, steel, and masonry, wood design a plus
- Experience directing junior engineers and collaborating with disciplines
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in various challenging conditions
