Job Description
Short Story is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead teams within our fulfillment center in San Francisco. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time, and has a customer-centric mentality. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.
Requirements
- 4-year degree or equivalent professional experience
- Exceptional people management skills with 3+ years leading large teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or G Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Comfortable delivering frequent written and oral feedback
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Bilingual English & Spanish - bonus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead a small team and make high-impact decisions
- Expertise in verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience working in ecommerce or a tech startup is a plus
