Job Description
Shriners Children's is seeking a Part-time Health Unit Coordinator (Ward Clerk) to assist with weekday and weekend Inpatient Unit needs as well as intake of new patients. The position is part-time, non-exempt and benefits eligible. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years experience as a health unit coordinator in an acute care setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Completion of a medical terminology course (desirable)
- Strong computer skills
- Strong verbal and writing skills
