Job Description
Our Client, a leading company within the Construction Industry is seeking a Construction Operations Manager to oversee all ongoing construction projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
- Supervise and support all Project Managers across building, road, and warehouse projects
- Review and approve drawings, project schedules, work programmes, and progress reports
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality, safety, and progress
- Plan and allocate manpower, machinery, and materials across projects based on workload
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of critical materials
- Oversee equipment utilization, maintenance, and logistics scheduling
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure all sites comply with HSE standards
- Review QA/QC plans and ensure adherence to specifications and standards
- Conduct audits and spot checks on workmanship and material quality
- Standardize reporting templates, checklists, and site management procedures
- Implement digital tools for project tracking and reporting (e.g., Fieldwire, MS Project, Excel dashboards)
- Develop and enforce best practices for project management and supervision
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and Foremen
- Support recruitment, training, and performance reviews of site staff
- Promote teamwork and accountability across the operations department
