Legal Counsel

As Legal Counsel I, you will support the legal team by providing advice and assistance on a wide range of legal matters, with a focus on the business operations of SNC. Your support will include contract negotiation, compliance, and intellectual property law activities. Legal support will generally be provided independently.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a respected law firm or as in-house counsel
• Admitted in good standing to practice law in at least one state
• Substantial corporate, commercial, and technology transactional experience and superior contract drafting and negotiating skills
• Experience supporting technology and software licensing, acquisition, protection, and counseling
• Experience in government contracting including agreement drafting and negotiations
• Experience and competence in corporate legal issues
• Ability to identify and mitigate legal risk and develop workable business solutions
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others
• Ability to organize projects/tasks and meet established deadlines
• Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
