Job Description
Thunes is seeking a Legal Counsel to support the Legal & Compliance function in building a world-class legal and regulatory infrastructure for sustainable business performance into the future. As a Legal Counsel, you will provide legal advice to the business and central functions, advise on legal risks, and ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Law qualification from a reputable institution; admitted as a lawyer, ideally in California or New York
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Demonstrable legal negotiation and drafting experience either from within a reputable law firm or similar in-house role
- Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification legal experience
- Broad legal experience including commercial, payments, product and intellectual property
- Ability to “roll up your sleeves” and ensure effective operations; identify best practices in legal and apply to Thunes
- Strong alignment with Thunes’ culture and values and be comfortable in changing corporate environments
