The Subcontracts Management Specialist II role involves managing the development and administration of subcontracts for specialized materials, equipment, and services, including preparing and evaluating bid packages, negotiating subcontract terms, and overseeing subcontractor performance.
Requirements
- Develop compliant files and manage subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for specialized procurements.
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages and establish evaluation criteria for subcontract proposals.
- Analyze and evaluate subcontractor proposals to ensure compliance with technical and financial requirements.
- Negotiate subcontract provisions, including terms, price, and schedule, to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Administer various types of subcontracts, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Material (T&M).
- Monitor and assess subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of subcontract agreements and performance data.
- Select and recommend new subcontractors based on evaluation and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project and program objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and federal regulations.
