Metallurgist

The Senior Metallurgist plans and directs activities concerned with developing and maintaining metallurgical standards and procedures for forged product.

Requirements

• BS Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or Materials Science required
• Aerospace industry experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple projects / tasks
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 / AS9100 and NADCAP quality standards
• Knowledge of statistical techniques, SPC
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing
• Ability to solve problems effectively
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, ERP)
• The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
