Desktop Engineer

Susquehanna is a global quantitative trading firm seeking a Desktop Engineer to provide 1st and 2nd level support for desktop software and hardware systems. The role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with teams globally, and providing excellent support services to the business.

Requirements

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support for desktop software and hardware systems
• Continuous evaluation and improvement of support procedures
• Interact with various internal IT support functions
• Maintain knowledge base and ensure run books are up to date
• 3+ years of providing desktop support
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows desktop OS Win 10 64bit
• Ability to monitor and diagnose desktop issues
• PowerShell scripting is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory
• Strong working knowledge of peripherals, printers, graphics cards
• Hardware experience
• Bsc in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
