Software Engineer - Automation Team

Signal Advisors is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Automation Team. The team is focused on building and maintaining the integration and automation layer that powers their operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience shipping production automation workflows, scripting proficiency in Python or JavaScript, and expertise in AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Cursor.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience shipping production automation workflows using tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, or equivalent platforms.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or JavaScript.
• REST API fluency—you’ve read docs, built integrations, and debugged a webhook.
• Expert-level proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, or Cursor to accelerate development, refactoring, and automated testing.
• Ability to leverage AI to ship features at startup speed without sacrificing architectural integrity or quality.
• Operational context—you understand how business systems connect and what breaks when they don’t.
