SCHEDULER

Signicast is seeking a Production Control Scheduler to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, good computer skills, and 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring materials inventories, tracking production progress, and reviewing factors that affect production schedules.

Requirements

• Comply with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Accurately input spot and EDI orders into Access.
• Monitor production process and implement process improvement.
• Launch production and sample orders per process schedule in order to meet customer demand.
• Communicates with customers regarding purchase order dates and quantities.
• Communicates with production and engineering to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Acknowledges purchase orders.
• Maintains customer database.
• Works with manufacturing as well as subcontract suppliers to expedite parts to ensure on time delivery to customers.
• Schedules customer shipments, via carrier or web as required.
• Cross-trains for coverage
• Review and update forecast, production schedules and material requirements.
• Support new product development through cooperative scheduling of model introductions, end of life and prototype processing with the potential suppliers
