The Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and maintaining efficient production schedules across all fabrication and finishing processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in manufacturing, operations, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of scheduling, production planning, or operations coordination experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including lasers, brake presses, welding, and finishing operations.
- Strong understanding of production flow, capacity planning, and job prioritization.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with powder coating and post-fabrication finishing workflows preferred.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Prior experience working directly with shop floor supervisors and machine operators preferred.
