Job Description
Silgan Closures is hiring a Production Supervisor in Hazelton, PA to support and manager union employees at our fast-paced manufacturing facility. The Production Supervisor will have a specific understanding of Silgan's safety and manufacturing policies, procedures, practices, quality, product safety, and line technology to effectively serve as a leader and resource for all employees.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience in a production supervisory capacity desirable
- Skilled trades experience (machinist, mechanic, millwright, tool and die, electrician) or engineering experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, ability to effectively influence others, and problem-solve
- Strong Leadership skills with ability to develop others
- Computer skills – ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in a Union environment
