Summer 2026 Seasonal Waitstaff

Looking for a summer adventure and a lifetime of memories? Silver Bay YMCA is hiring seasonal waitstaff for a summer job in Silver Bay, New York. As a 24-hour operation, all staff may be asked to work weekends, evenings, night shifts and/or holidays.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Experience preferred but not a requirement
• Bartending experience a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and meet food service health and safety standards
• Demonstrated ability to be alert, thorough, detail-oriented, and work effectively with others in a noisy and fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills
• Sound verbal, writing, and mathematic skills
• Basic working knowledge of computers
• Maintaining good personal hygiene and personal sanitation
