Inpatient Coding Supervisor

Silver Cross Hospital is an extraordinary place to work, seeking an Inpatient Coding Supervisor to report directly to the Reimbursement/Coding Manager and serve as a subject matter expert for the coding staff.

Requirements

• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) required
• Two to three years of related experience in a hospital medical record department
• Extensive coding and auditing skills
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record required, Cerner preferred, ICD10CM/PCS/coding system and MSDRG/APRDRG knowledge required
• Ability to communicate effectively and excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of automated encoder system, 3M preferred
• Excel experience preferred
• Previous leadership experiences a plus
• Previous experience using computer assisted coding (CAC) software a plus
