Job Description
The Sr. Principal SW Engineer, DSP and Algorithms will implement customer processing pipelines, architect and design audio and video processing functions, and work with the chip hardware team to define next generation algorithmic compute blocks.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 15+ years of experience developing system software for complex vision, audio, image or video processing applications
- Strong knowledge of DSP, Image, Audio, Video, Computer Vision Algorithms and Frameworks
- Good programming skills in C, C++ and Python in a Linux environment
- Experience with DSPs, GPGPUs, SIMD or VLIW instruction sets
- Strong mathematical foundation in algorithms, DSP and deep learning
- Experience with 2D and 3D DMA programming and performance tuning
- 2+ years of experience bringing up SoCs from scratch
