Head Rowing Coach

Simmons University is seeking a Head Rowing Coach to lead its NCAA Division III rowing program. The position is responsible for managing all aspects of the program, including recruitment, budget management, technical coaching, and innovation in fundraising and alumni engagement.

Requirements

• Manage all aspects of the NCAA Division III Rowing program in accordance to NCAA Bylaws and NEWMAC guidelines;
• Provide general leadership and training for the rowing team and directing workouts;
• Instruct student-athletes on specific techniques, skills, and strategies;
• Maintain a team culture of discipline and respect;
• Maintain a balanced team fund account and all rowing equipment;
• Coordinate recruitment/retention process of academic and athletically qualified student athletes;
• Creates a competition schedule in collaboration with the Assistant Athletic Director;
• Effective budget planning/fundraising and adherence to university policies;
