Job Description
Clinical instructor will prepare students for clinical experience, conduct review of prerequisites, and review legal liability of preceptor role. Students will apply, synthesize and evaluate content from nursing theory and sciences in clinical practice setting. Clinical instructors must have a minimum of a BSN with 5 years of experience or an MSN or be matriculated in a Master’s in Nursing program. Must be licensed in Massachusetts.
Requirements
- BSN with 5 years of experience or MSN
- Licensure in Massachusetts
- 8-16 hours per week, inclusive of pre and post-conference
- Ability to conduct an 8-hour day
- Attendance at faculty orientation and team meetings
- Adherence to policies in School of Nursing Faculty Handbook
