Vice President, Development

Vice President, Development responsible for managing entitlements for proposed new retail and/or mixed-use retail focused real estate redevelopment and expansion projects within the Simon portfolio, with a focus on transforming key real estate assets into destination retail and mixed-use environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in finance, architecture, urban planning, engineering or related field
• Advanced degree in Business/Real Estate or Urban Planning with financial foundation desirable
• Experienced Development Professional with substantial retail and/or mixed-use experience in the western United States, for expansion of current assets to include mixed-use elements on traditional mall properties
• Eight to ten years of demonstrated experience preferred
• Knowledge and experience working with REAs and CC&Rs for major mixed-use places required
• Ability to work with and communicate with anchor and major retailer partners, and third party partners that may jointly develop certain portions of such efforts
