Job Description
We're a high-tech home security company looking for a Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team in Boston, MA. As a Staff RF Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building SimpliSafe's RF capabilities and working closely with the engineering teams to choose chipsets and optimize mechanical and electrical designs for RF performance.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in validating radio and front-end performance across 400MHz to 70GHz bands, with a specific focus on high-reliability consumer electronics
- Proven ability to translate Product Requirements into technical RF specifications
- Advanced skills in debugging desense, interference, and coexistence issues in multi-radio environments
- Expert-level operation of VNA, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Wideband Radio Communication Testers
- RF emission requirements and testing for FCC, ETSI, Radio and Emission qualifications
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with an ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems
