Job Description
We're a high-tech home security company looking for a Staff RF Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key technical leader, you'll be responsible for RF product development and validation, and will work closely with engineering teams to design and build SimpliSafe's RF capabilities.
Requirements
- Establish and maintain performance metrics for all wireless protocols
- Build SimpliSafe's RF testing capabilities
- Lead and audit ODM design partners through the test and qualification phases
- Lead the characterization of wireless chipsets and antenna systems
- Act as the RF consultant to Electrical and Mechanical teams
- Review PRDs and author RF technical requirements
- Drive the development of automated test scripts
- Root causing RF field related issues
