Project Director - Geotechnical/Geostructural (Waltham, MA)

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is a national engineering firm seeking a Project Director - Geotechnical/Geostructural to lead geotechnical and geostructural engineering services. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of relevant experience and a strong technical reputation.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant geotechnical or geostructural engineering experience and expertise
• Professional Licensure required
• MS or PhD with a concentration in Geotechnical or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• Demonstrated excellent technical, professional capabilities, and experience with complex geotechnical or geostructural design and analysis
• Ability to manage monthly volume of $100k or annual volume of $500k
• Prominent involvement within academia or an industry organization
• High ethical standards and honesty
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively
• Business acumen and sound business judgement
• Expertise in computer analysis software (e.g., GEOSLOPE Suite, Slide, Plaxis, etc.)
