Senior Project Manager, Structural Engineering

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is a national engineering firm seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Los Angeles Structures Division. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of industry experience and a strong technical education in civil or structural engineering.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood-frame structures
• MS in Civil or Structural Engineering
• California Structural Engineer licensure
• Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving ability: capability to solve minor or complex problems using data, logic, and judgement
• Team-oriented mindset
• Project management skills
• Accountability and responsibility
• Enthusiasm, passion, and desire for continued learning of new ideas and concepts
• Familiarity with computer analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
