The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the infrastructure for a 133,000 square foot building, with a focus on HVAC, boiler, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
Requirements
- Manage building environmental equipment to ensure a comfortable and healthy workplace.
- Maintain required logs detailing system operation and maintenance.
- Safely operate, maintain, and repair (or oversee repairs) of industrial machinery and building utility systems such as boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and plumbing.
- Coordinate with local authorities to facilitate required fire inspections and fire suppression testing.
- Work with local authorities to ensure that code compliance and regulatory requirements are fulfilled.
- Develop and maintain an Employee Safety Program including evacuation.
- Remain current on technologies that pertain to infrastructure and systems within the physical plant.
- Assist the Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer with capital and operating budgets.
