Newscast Content Producer

WSET ABC 13 is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Newscast Content Producer to work on the production and writing of our two-hour Monday-Friday newscast 'Good Morning Virginia.'

Requirements

• Be a news junkie with solid news judgment
• Be a compelling and accurate writer
• Be able to multitask in order to put together an exciting and informative newscast
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• The ability to execute news strategies and goals in daily newscasts
• Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a must
• Proficient with newsroom systems, such as iNews
• Willingness to work overnights (as well as holidays, weekends, and other shifts as needed.)
