Job Description
The Lead Engineer - Routing Infrastructure will provide senior technical leadership across Optus' Internet-facing routing, peering, and CDN interconnect platforms. The role is accountable for the end-to-end technical design and engineering of Internet connectivity, peering, and traffic exchange solutions that underpin customer Internet access, content delivery, and digital services.
Requirements
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience designing and implementing Internet routing and peering solutions in large-scale Telco or ISP environments.
- Strong expertise in IP and BGP-based architectures, including Internet peering, transit, traffic engineering, and routing policy design.
