Job Description
SKF is seeking an Associate Metallurgist to prepare metallographic samples, operate laboratory equipment, perform hardness tests, and ensure adherence to safety regulations. The role involves quality assurance, maintenance, and adherence to EH&S guidelines. SKF is a global supplier of bearings and related solutions for rotating equipment.
Requirements
- Prepare metallographic samples independently
- Operate Rockwell, Vickers & Micro Vickers hardness tester
- Perform steel chemical analysis
- Perform Ultrasonic Testing (NDT-UT)
- Calibration of equipment
- Monitoring environmental conditions
- Adhering to Preventive maintenance scheduling
- Material handling and tracking
- Housekeeping
- Participate and prepare for Quality system and EHS audits
- Raise Purchase requestsions
