Interior Technical Architect

SOM is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Interior Technical Architect to manage technical development, coordination, and documentation of projects from design development through construction administration. The role involves collaborating with project teams, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project execution while maintaining design integrity, technical accuracy, and compliance with building codes and firm standards.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Professional licensure; LEED accreditation strongly preferred
• Minimum 6 years of experience or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities in corporate interiors
• Construction Documents and detailing Experience
• Construction Administration and site experience interacting with contractors
• Familiarity with building codes
• Knowledge of building systems used for interior construction
• Advanced Revit experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
