Senior Enterprise Architecture Manager

Skipton, a mutual building society, is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architecture Manager to lead the Enterprise Architecture layer within Technology Services. The successful candidate will shape the organization's enterprise-wide technology strategy and architecture, leading to simplification, automation, and value flow.

Requirements

• Extensive senior experience in enterprise or chief architecture roles within complex organizations
• Proven track record leading large-scale transformation programs and maturing architecture capability
• Ability to influence ExCo and executive leaders with strong strategic communication skills
• Deep expertise in architectural modeling, conceptual thinking, and simplifying complex problems
• Experience governing architecture across multiple business domains and value streams
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, and decision-making skills in complex environments
• Demonstrated ability to develop and lead large architecture communities
• Strategic thinker with a natural learning mindset
• Influential and credible at executive level, acting as a trusted advisor
• Inspirational leader who motivates teams and models thought leadership
• Collaborative, pragmatic, and outcome-focused with strong ownership of enterprise direction
