ADOLESCENT RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR - 2nd Shift

Skyland Trail, a nonprofit mental health residential treatment program, is seeking an Adolescent Residential Counselor 2nd Shift to provide supervision, education, and support services to clients in the Residential, Adolescent Program.

Requirements

• Provide clinical, residential, program support and supervision to clients
• Monitor and document clients' behavior, location, progress and communicate any needs or concerns to clinical team
• Complete Activities of Daily Living assessments and document pertinent information
• Instructs and provides support to clients in activities of daily living, interpersonal, and socialization skills
• Transports and supervises clients during planned community activities and appointments
• Conduct assigned residential groups and document based on written curriculum
• Provide support and direction to residents during client-led community meetings
• Co-facilitate group therapy and family therapy with lead clinicians when requested
• Ensure that clients follow safety procedures and program rules
• Conduct Emergency preparedness procedures
• Maintain the facility according to standards as dictated by accrediting/licensing bodies
• Provide consistently, superior clinical care and customer service to all clients and families
