Claims Adjuster

We are seeking a Claims Adjuster to join our team at Slide Insurance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, active Florida 6-20 Resident All Lines Adjuster License, and 2+ years of first-party property claims adjusting experience. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for proactively communicating with customers, researching and analyzing policy language, and negotiating and settling claims.

Requirements

• Proactively communicate and set accurate claims expectations with customers
• Research, analyze, and interpret policy language and state law
• Examine and interpret policies, forms, and other records
• Apply knowledge of multiple state statutes, including the insurance code of ethics
• Draft, approve, and adjust estimates of damage and loss amounts
• Negotiate and settle claims
• Assign, direct, and monitor vendors conducting mitigation and/or other services
• Model ethical behavior and execute job responsibilities
• Document all relevant information in the electronic claims management system
• Contribute to the business production goals and objectives
• Establish timely and appropriate claim reserves
• Represent the company with a high level of service and professionalism
