Job Description
Smarsh is seeking a Platform Engineer III to join their Fabric Weaver group, which builds and manages the Central CIAM used by all product teams on the Smarsh platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud automation, User Access Management, Observability, and security best practices, as well as a strong understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, and other cloud infrastructure tools.
Requirements
- Professional degree in Computer Science from a reputed college
- 4-6 years of professional experience in DevOps or software engineering roles
- Strong understanding of Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), OAuth 2.0 flows, SAML, JWT, SSO
- Hands-on experience with Keycloak, Realms configuration, User Federation
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins
- Experience with teams having delivered observability and telemetry tools and practices
- Experience with cloud-native tools such as Istio, Argo CD, ExternalSecrets Operator, Keda, Karpenter, etc
