The Sr. Manager, Project Management (LOB) is responsible for overseeing project execution and delivery standards within a defined Line of Business. Reporting to the Director, PMO, this role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to established governance frameworks.
Requirements
- Oversee active project portfolio within assigned LOB
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget & scope
- Monitor project health indicators and proactively mitigate risk
- Manage and develop Project Managers within the LOB
- Provide coaching on timeline management, scope control, and cross-functional coordination
- Conduct performance reviews and development planning
- Reinforce accountability and consistent execution standards
- Ensure adoption of PMO standards, tools, and documentation practices
- Audit project plans for compliance and quality
- Drive continuous improvement of execution workflows
- Partner with AMs to ensure alignment between scope and delivery plans
- Collaborate with Strategists to support execution feasibility
- Work with WFM to align staffing with workload forecasts
- Identify delivery risks early and implement corrective action plans
- Support PMs in navigating complex client or scope challenges
- Elevate high-impact risks to Director, PMO when necessary
- Track LOB-level delivery KPIs (on-time delivery, utilization, margin impact, etc.)
- Provide regular updates to Director, PMO on portfolio health
- Support data-driven decision-making across the LOB
