Business Planning & Operations

SmartNews Co., Ltd. is seeking a Business Planning & Operations professional to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in business planning, operations, revenue operations, sales strategy, or strategy consulting, with advanced data extraction and analysis skills using SQL, Tableau, and Excel/Google Sheets. The role involves strategic budgeting, decision support, departmental cross-functional project promotion, operation reform, and governance and risk management.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience in the field of Business Planning & Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy & Operations, Management Planning Department, or Strategy Consulting
• Advanced data extraction and analysis skills using SQL, Tableau, Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience in designing CRM system logic or using GAS (Google Apps Script) and AI tools for business automation and efficiency
• Self-motivation to discover and propose and promote structural reforms
• Business-level English skills
