Debt Capital Markets | Corporate Origination - Internship

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Group is seeking an intern for its Debt Capital Markets team in Paris. The intern will support deal coverage, origination, and execution, and have the opportunity to work with other capital market teams.

Requirements

• Gap year or end-of-studies student
• Relevant degree (Business/Economics/Accounting/Commerce)
• Interest in financial markets
• Prior internship experience in banking or financial sector (welcome)
• Fluent English and French (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of Fixed Income Market key drivers
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PPT, Word)
• Experience with Bloomberg (welcome)
• Analytical skills
• Communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Autonomy
