Debt Capital Markets - Internship

Join the Debt Capital Markets Team as an intern in the SMBC Paris office. Support the team in all aspects of deal coverage, origination, and execution. Collaborate with other capital market teams and gain insights into investment banking.

Requirements

• Gap year student or end-of-studies student
• Relevant degree educated or equivalent
• Interest in financial markets and DCM coverage and transactions
• Prior internship experience, ideally in banking industry or financial sector is welcome
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of Fixed Income Market key drivers
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Experience with Bloomberg welcome
• Analytical skills
• Ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Ability to take initiatives and work with autonomy
• Curious and self-motivated
• Team oriented
• Strong communication skills
