Job Description
Assists the National Training Manager in implementing nationally accepted training programs, creating multi-media training materials, and presenting established SMC training classes. Travels to SMC locations, distributor or customer sites, and communicates training information to other SMC groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 10 years equivalent manufacturing experience
- Three years of experience as SMC technical employee or closely related equivalent experience
- Three years of experience with SMC products and technology, or closely related industry experience
- Proven ability to provide SMC product training and pneumatic technology training
- Three years of training/education/presentation experience
- Current Pneumatic Specialist, Hydraulic Specialist, or Fluid Power Specialist Certification granted by the International Fluid Power Society (preferred)
- Above average written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy with the ability to learn appropriate software
- Able to work well with other people
- Able to perform duties with minimal direction
