Manufacturing Engineer II (Maple Plain, MN)

As a Manufacturing Engineer II at Smith+Nephew, you will lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for soft-tissue repair device systems, partner with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain, and drive design for manufacturability. The role requires 2-5 years of engineering experience, a BS in Engineering, and familiarity with regulated medical device environments.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial or related)
• 2-5 years engineering experience in manufacturing or process engineering
• Hands-on experience scaling products from prototype to production
• Familiarity with regulated medical device environments
• Understanding of manufacturing metrics and continuous improvement tools (e.g., lean, DMAIC)
• Proficiency in CAD software
